Who I Am – Outdoor Enthusiast & Wildlife Lover

👋 Hey there, I’m Nicole, an outdoor enthusiast, wildlife lover, and adventure seeker who spends as much time as possible out on the trails (or daydreaming about my next trip).

After graduating from a small university in Oklahoma, I thought I had life figured out—but life had other plans. At 18, I was in a life-changing accident that completely shifted my perspective. Since then, I’ve made a promise to myself: to experience everything I can, to chase the things that set my soul on fire, and to never take a single moment for granted again.

In my late 20s, I changed my life completely and moved to Pennsylvania. The forests here feel like home, grounding me in their quiet beauty, yet my heart is forever drawn to the mountains. Over the years, I’ve left pieces of myself scattered across the world—on mountaintops I never believed I could climb, at the bottom of alpine lakes that are more glacier than water, and in small, high-altitude villages with names I can barely pronounce. Every wild and beautiful place I’ve explored has shaped me, healed me, and reminded me who I am.

This space is where I gather those moments—stories of adventure, wildlife, challenge, and wonder. It’s my way of sharing the journey, both on the trail and within myself, as I keep chasing mountains and finding home in the wild.
